Tau Hammerhead Tank by Tekka-Croe Tau Hammerhead Tank by Tekka-Croe
I actually bought and built this more than two years ago, and I even sort-of-painted it. But yesterday, I noticed it sitting on my shelf and thought that it needed work, so I added a ton of accents and little red warning-stripes, and I probably went overboard on the weathering.

Well, wherever it's deployed, it's certainly muddy there.

Nice Weathering! Not overboard at all.

No such thing as too much weathering.

Muddy, or on ash-waste/corrosive atmosphere world (Imperial Hive world maybe?)

Good work though, nice detailing

Either mud, or ground coated in spaghetti sauce.
(It gets that color when it's old and dried, and your mud is a little too orange.)

Awesome! I totally remember this kit from oh so long ago. Glad to see it got some attention.

Ha, yeah, it seems that Tau ships have a nasty habit of holding interest like a sieve. I have a Devilfish laying around from 2 years ago that needs painting too. Maybe someday I'll become inspired to finish it too :-/

It's not so much that I lost interest in it, my modeling skills have just improved a lot in the last couple years.

Ah, indeed. My models usually become doomed when I get to the painting stage because I'm kinda perfectionist about paint. I wanted to do some crazy camo pattern on mine but still haven't figured out what kind.
