I FRIGGING LOVE WORKING WITH METALLIC PAINTS.
My latest completed miniature- a Dreadnought for my Stonehides Space Marines. The wing and chapter insignia on the forward armor were fabricated from thin styrene sheet. Otherwise, I've left its physical structure pretty much unmodified. The arms are interchangeable, as I decided not to glue them in place, but I haven't gotten around to painting the Lascannon and Missile Pod.
The Stonehides prefer to stay light and mobile, and a Dreadnought is decidedly neither of those things. Nevertheless, there are times when the Stonehides have to fight on the enemy's terms: large-scale engagements on open ground, or laying siege to hardened targets. It's in those instances that a Dreadnought may be unleashed.
