I feel that a gunpla made out of this would look really cool. Although, at my current level the best i could do would be the Ez-8 with the cannon put on somehow and with a deserty paintjob.

This thing is awesome, this also looks like something that could be used in this Collaboration fanfiction :iconpatriot-112: is writing where the Gundam SEED [CE 71] reality merges with our reality [2014 AD].

The thing I want to know is do you create mobile suits if someone where to provide all the stats for you? Because if so I may have to send Patriot-112 , 117Jorn, and Dragonknightryu your way because they go a bunch of mobile suits with a the details finely planned and laid out

You're not intending to use this design, are you? I'd hope not, as it belongs to me. I'm SSG-Scorps on a new account, and this thing is a suit from my own extensive Gundam AU I've been working on for... seven-plus years.

As for how he creates suits like this, it's usually helpful to offer a comprehensive guide for the design of the suit along with the specifications. I gave him the specs (which are slightly outdatted in regards to lore information), and basically said to "imagine an Abrams Tank as a Gundam".

Nope. I was pointing it out to Patriot, because of the fanfiction he is doing and how they've got Abrams Tanks fighting alongside GAT-01 Strike Daggers among other vehicles. They have a habit of creating other units based off previously created units, for example their mainline mobile unit in the TSMF-81 Patriot which is based off of the RGM-79 GM. If anything they'd give you props for the design and probably ask for permission to use your design or at least a variant of your design in their fanfiction

This is a link to their fanfiction is you wanna read: www.fanfiction.net/s/10101842/…

Although Mordalfus is my FFN Name, call me Mord for short. It sound better, also you like this beauty of Gundam? I know I do, use a either a GAT-01 Strike Dagger or a GAT-01A1 '105' Dagger as the base model and mount the weaponry/or the MSG:SEED version on them and you get an Abrams Dagger

I hope the 150mm cannon is recoilless ([link]). And the Vulcan guns' muzzles don't look in scale, i.e., TOO DAMN SMALL to be of 105mm caliber.

As I mention in the description, I did this design for an acquaintance here on DA. I would've preferred to have a larger gun mounted over one of the shoulders, but I was going by the specs from the original creator.

I can see the Frame Arms influence. If the torso were a little slimmer, I could honestly see this sort of design fitting right into the mid-UC as a groundpounder.

I kinda like it, its a more realistic "Mass Produced Gun Cannon". Also like how you did take a few design changes of the actual Abrams weaponry, for a few "upgrades.

Also, am I reading that right? 105mm Vulcan guns? 0_0;; That thing is packing the same size shells as a freaking M102 Howtizer, the biggest gun armed on an AC-130H "Spectre" and AC-130U "Spooky II" gunships as Gatling good death? o_0 Over kill much?

Side question, in a worst case scenario, can the primary 150mm Smoothbore cannon:
A: use various forms of Ammo? (Such as Armor Piercing types for Hard and ERA armor equipped targets, and HEAT rounds for "Soft" targets like transport trucks, or any other types?)
B: Worse case scenario, can it detach and lose the cannon? or is that one of it's design flaws?

105mm Vulcans. You are reading that right.

A - Yes, it does use various forms of ammo.

B - The cannon isn't detachable.

If you'd like to experience more of the project we've got going on, take a look at [link]

Not too much at the moment, but we're getting there.

Actually scratch that, the cannon will be detachable. Once it becomes dead weight I figure it wouldn't be logical to keep it. Plus it'd make moving around much easier. Especially when in an urban setting.

If the 105mm vulcans are true, no Zaku is coming out alive. Not to be rude or anything but I think your friend might want to stick with the regular 75mm or 76mm CIWS systems, I can't remember which the RX-78-2 Gundam had but I'm leaning towards the former, only if his story is a fanfiction of the Universal Century.

Other than my babbling, the design looks fantastic. I always liked the realistic 08th Team Gundams. This, however, takes the cake in badass artillery.

It's no Universal Century fanfiction, takes place in my own Gundam Universe. Plenty of room for my own stuff. ;p

Makes me want to continue my own Gundam story. Problem is, I'm working on like 3 different stories since I kinda want to be a writer. I'm with you on the 'plenty of room for my own stuff' thing. Feels great not to be strapped down to any original rules.

Here's a link to some of my stuff: [link]

It's nowhere near the amount of content you have but I'm working on getting more done, especially more original designs. My Gundam Eternity looks way too much like the Strike Freedom and the Wing Zero.

That is some nice stuff. I like the Hidolfr v2. I would recommend redoing the Eternity, though. Looking at the Hidolfr, the Eternity could be so much more.

I want to be a multitude of things. Writing just happens to be my forte at the moment, so I'm doing all I can to take full advantage of it.

Which is why its primary firing mode - when it's not running and gunning - is getting down on all fours, firing on an even, horizontal plane rather than a vertical one.

You know, like a tank

Though that firing mode is also a flaw in it's design. This Gundam was built around a time where the Earth Federation in my Gundam universe was under a hell of a lot of stress to put down a coup d'etat which would eventually overthrow it later in the timeline. In developing most of their mobile suits back then, they had little to no time to address many of the issues that made them rather impractical and flawed combat weapons.

Whereas the enemy they were fighting were doing the exact opposite.

The Federation was stagnating at a rapid pace, you see. And needed to get things done quickly; sacrificing certain sense for effectiveness.

But don't worry, the Full Armor version of this thing will feature two cannons, this time layered beside the head.

The inspiration for the Abrams is actually from the Mudrock Gundam seen in Zeonic Front. Basic idea was an Abrams Tank reimagined as a Mobile Suit.

The "Guncannon" is coming soon. ;p
