Perhaps you've not noticed my note, but this sketch is rather fascinating to me, and I would like to use it in my augmentation suit. As the compartmentalization of the back allows for full range of motion while waterproofing the electronic components I intend to integrate into it. I once again respectfully request permission to use this as a base for the design I wish to actually physically create in for my own uses. I hope to hear a reply in the near future from you.
the times I try to design armor always ends up looking naff, with only the odd part looking ok, never get as far as back details I like the look of this, sort of 'wrapped' panels/plates - the back jack plugs(?) & the panels across her shoulder blades look good
Are there any "naked" areas? IMHO, there are a couple of places on the arms that seem unprotected.
Probably what I should've asked first: what are we looking at? Something along the lines of 'Black Carapace'? Or it is the most outer layer there is? Any cool forcefield or that thing is stopping it all by itself?
Sorry for stupid questions and all, but you've asked for our thoughts, so...
Not a problem. The armor is a full-body form fitted suit, so in this image, there's no exposed skin below the neck. The suit is composed primarily of soft polymer fiber layers, with a few rigid plates built into the shoulder blades, upper back, elbows, etc. It'll probably be varying shades of charcoal and dark grey in coloration.
