Reina Cloude (2011)

Okay, so hopefully you're not getting tired of reference sheets for my OC, Reina Cloude (this is, what, the fourth one?). Recently, I've really been trying to better define her unique facial features, to give her a more consistent appearance: small low-set nose, strong angular jaw, almond-shaped eyes, wide flat mouth, and a smattering of freckles on her nose and cheeks (also on shoulders and upper back). Her hair has likewise gotten a bit more refined/less messy. I've also chosen to change the color of her eyes to green. While I liked the purple, it looked too mellow, while the green gives her a more intense look. Also, the green helps to balance out her predominantly warm color pallet. I've once again streamlined her boots to look a little lighter and more articulated (is it just me, or do all the members of Timberwolfe's crew wear variations on the same pair of boots and gloves?). The tank top is pretty much the same as it appeared on the previous costume concept sheet ( tekka-croe.deviantart.com/art/… ), though with the tones reversed. As for the pants, I've tried to combine my favorite elements of both the beige pants and gray-brown pants, also seen on the costume concept sheet. Cargo pants FTW. Anyhow, on the backstory/character stuff.

"Reina Cloude" is a product of the Karic military's super soldier program, codenamed "Warchild." She was originally grown from a genetically altered embryo, frozen and stored for military research. Out of her batch, she was selected as one of the "general purpose" subjects. Rather than being specially conditioned with a set of specific skills (eg. Sniping/recon specialist), she was given a full range of multi-role skill sets.

Technology: She is, at this point, as much a machine as she is a human. her entire skeletal structure has been strengthened (and some bones simply replaced) with lightweight carbon-fiber components.

Some high-stress joints, namely the knees and elbows, are prosthetic assemblies with a metal core joint and synthetic muscles, integrated into her skeletal structure. Each prosthetic joint has a bundle of nerves and blood vessels running through its center.

Her eyes are completely prosthetic, and are opaque-black so as to allow for a HUD to be projected directly onto the inner surface of the eye.

Located at the base of her skull is a universal systems plug, allowing her to directly interface with any compatible hardware/software. This is especially useful when using weapons with electronic scopes.

Problems: Subject is certifiably insane due to mental... trauma, and highly unpredictable. Appears to suffer from some manner of schizoid personality disorder, making it difficult for her to express complex emotions.

Currently: Subject's whereabouts are presently unconfirmed. Subject was assigned to kill or capture the notorious Saldean** freelancer known as "Timberwolfe." Subject was initially presumed dead after an extended period of broken contact. Since then, it has come to light that the subject was captured, and has latched onto Timberwolfe as a sort of surrogate father.


Subject has not caused significant danger to the state as of yet. If subject becomes a threat to Karic, Karic Special Weapons division/ES.W.A.T. has authority to seek and destroy said subject.


*In the universe of Novus Imperium, Karic is humanity's homeworld. Its landmasses are uniformly covered in a blanket of multilevel city, and has an artificial ring, as well as numerous deep-space colonies in orbit at Karic's Lagrange Points. It is the most powerful planet in the galaxy.

**Saldea is an enormous terrestrial planet. It is inhabited by humanoids, who are heavily muscled to counter the planet's high gravity. On an earth-like planet, a Saldean will likely seem to possess superhuman strength.
