Another illustration for the Halo story which and I have worked on in the past.

This is one of the main characters, Harran Montorsee (or Harran Montors, having removed the "ee" honorific following the Great Schism), a Special Ops Elite who leads a Flood-containment squad. Crimson Wolf actually came up with this guy's back story a very long time ago: He's one of the SpecOps Elites who accompanied the Arbiter into the Library on Delta Halo in Halo 2. During that mission he had a... bonding experience with a shotgun, and as a result he and his team employ Human weapons such as the shotgun and flamethrower to great effect, regardless of any taboo this may incur.

The beam shield was inspired by a piece of early unused concept art for Halo CE, by Bungie concept artist Shi Kai Wang.
