I must admit, I was a bit disappointed to discover that Halo 4 doesn't feature my old standby, and fan-favorite: the ODST helmet.

Halo 4 has actually gotten me thinking about an old Halo story that :iconthe-crimson-wolf: and I created in high school, and about how it would actually fit much better taking place contemporary to the story of Halo 4 and Infinity. One of the story's central characters is an ODST, or based on how I'm reworking things, may be a Spartan-IV based on my Spartan from Reach (in which case, I still need an ODST Helmet [link]).

I miss the ODST helmet! This is actually somewhat satisfying! Can I try and make this a pepakura file so people can do Halo 4 ODST cosplays?

I've noticed that either Rookie or Air Assault seem to be the closest analogs... I was bummed that Operator from Reach didn't make an appearance.

Now that I think about it... There aren't any ODSTs at all in H4 are there? ... That shit is fucked up. And the marine armor doesn't look nearly as awesome as it used to either.

this was my favorite helmet as well :( i have officially looked it up but considering there are no ODST in halo 4 I'm guessing that's what apartan 4's are and the recruit helmet is meant to be ODST updated

I was pretty upset about the ODST not being in H4. Same with bringing back the SMG. How i want that again. There is a lot of neat helmets so I'm not really that upset anymore.
