I built this 1/144 scale kit a couple months ago, but I thought it looked rather bland on its own, so I gave it some of my brand-new decals. Using some special clear sticker paper, I can essentially print my own version of Bandai's Tetron stickers.
Most of the decals used here are ones that I designed myself, with a few others made from scans of the MG Victory's transfer sheet.
I also got the GNWH/R version, I just prefer it in the standard configuration. As for the clear red thing, it's a simple technique I developed while working on Gundam 00 kits. The well-known hobby company TAMIYA (as you may already know) has it's own brand of paints. They have a variety of "clear" colors. For the clear crest things, I just slightly water down some clear red, and then paint it on the back of the clear piece. Since the part is clear, the red refracts through it and makes the whole piece appear to be red.
Sweet. I have the same version except mine has the added Shield BITS and Rifle BITS. How'd you get the piece above the crown (the red one that lifts up to reveal the sniper eye lens) that awesome translucent red color because to be honest I hate the sticker it came with to put on it, it's lame. I want something like you did.
