Brace yourselves. Vault Hunters are coming.

Introducing Trent as The Veteran, essentially the Roland/Axton of my intrepid bunch of Vault Hunters, all of whom are based on OCs created by my brother and I.

Trent used to be an enforcer for Hyperion, but defected and went to ground on Pandora. He is guilty of Corporate Treason and is to be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

i've thought about stuff like this before, but never gone anywhere with those thoughts. I'm glad to see that someone else was thinking about borderlands OCs (and even more impressed to see that you did something with that idea). Awesome work

That is the only thing I hated about that game. You were stuck with whatever characters they gave you.

creating a borderlands OC was in my mind too since I've played the first game round about a year or more ago.

What will be his 'action-skill'?

I don't know if you've played Borderlands 2, but in the intro cutscene Zero takes down two Hyperion goons in sort of light-weight open framed power suits. Since this guy is ex-Hyperion, I figure his action skill would be to temporarily materialize (also a new thing in BL2) his own renegade version of one such power suit around him. It would, for a brief time, grant him speed and durability, and the ability to "punch the crap out of everything" with pneumatic fists (or just use his guns. Maybe it'd give him a damage bonus with guns while active?).

Please oh please send this idea to Gearbox. It seems so plausible and this character seems so worn and kickass.
